Acceptable use
1. Allowed use
A site hosted by HTML Hosts is a public page for a lawful local business: who you are, what you do, how to call, and how to write. You are responsible for the claims on that page.
2. Not allowed
- Anything illegal in the United States, including fraud, phishing, and malware.
- Sexual content involving anyone under 18, or any request for it. We report that material to the authorities as required.
- Content that infringes a copyright, trademark, or other right. See the DMCA and takedown page.
- Impersonation of another business or person.
- An online store, card capture, or any page that asks a visitor for a payment-card number.
- Medical or legal practices, and other regulated claims, until a separate review says they are in scope.
- Invented reviews, fake licenses, or credentials you cannot support.
- Spam, or a form that hides where the message will go.
- Scripts, embeds, or uploaded files that run code. Customer sites are static pages.
3. Your visitors
If your site has a contact form, the message is for your business. Do not ask visitors to send medical details, government ID numbers, or card numbers. We can refuse a form that asks for those.
4. What we may do
We may refuse a preview, refuse an edit, suspend a site, or remove material that breaks this page or the law. We will tell the account contact unless the law, a court, or someone's safety says not to. Suspension is not a transfer of your domain.
5. Report abuse
Use our contact form with the page address and what is wrong. For copyright, use the DMCA page so the notice has the elements the statute expects.
